Padel bag essentials: ready for your next match

Your court is booked. Your partner is already texting. You reach for your bag — and realise your towel is still drying at home.

A little preparation makes match day easier. These padel bag essentials cover what you need on court, between sets and before heading home.

What should you pack for padel?

Start with a racket, padel balls, court-appropriate shoes, water and a towel. Add a spare overgrip and a clean shirt. If you are trying padel for the first time, check whether your club rents rackets before buying your own.

Padel continues to grow: the International Padel Federation reported approximately 38 million players worldwide in 2026. Whether you are joining them for your first game or already have a weekly slot, a simple packing routine is useful.

The small padel accessories you will actually use

Keep an overgrip in a small pocket where you can find it quickly. Pack a separate bag for worn clothes, so your clean kit stays separate after a sweaty match. For autumn evenings, a light extra layer is easy to throw on when you leave the court.

Playing several matches? Bring a snack you enjoy and check where you can refill your water bottle. Pack for your actual plans, rather than filling every pocket.

A personal care moment after the last point

Once the racket is packed away, make room for a little personal care. Padel Care Stick 75 g is a twist-up care balm that applies directly to the skin, with a cooling and warming sensation. No jar to scoop from: twist up, glide on as directed, close the cap and put it away.

It is an optional addition to your padel kit for players who enjoy that skin sensation. Follow the label and avoid eyes and broken or irritated skin. The balm does not replace a warm-up or rest.
